First blog post

Hello feministas!

Welcome to the first blog post of fempower.tech, a cohort of HCI researchers engaging in feminist thinking and research. This site is for sharing individual and collective work-in-progress. While the group meetings and activities are usually organised via emails, we (the site admins) recognise that not everyone who is interested is able to attend or take part in fempower.tech projects. We hope that by creating this site, it will allow people to take part and gain access to what’s going on even if you can’t be around physically.

I’ll be spending some time creating a visual theme (including a logo that we can turn into a cookie cutter, special request from Angelika) for the site in the next few weeks, please feel free to leave comments here or send me suggestions via email.
